Content: Buffy/Angel with implied B/R

Story Summary: Riley sees Buffy and Angel together, and he reacts very badly.
Authors Note: For my brother, Gabriel who hates B/R. I hope he likes it.

Riley should have known she was going to be here tonight at the Bronze. He couldn't believe that she had a new boyfriend already. Why did he even bother pursuing her? Oh yeah, because she was beautiful and seemed smart.

"Well, well look at you Buffy. I see you got yourself a new honey. What's the flavor of the month's name?" He didn't like this tall brooding mystery man.

"His name is Angel and I have always loved him. Riley what he had was nice and all, but there was..." Cut off by Angel saying:

"Buffy liked you and all. She didn't want to hurt you, but we both realize that we can't be apart." Slowly moving to kiss her when Riley shoved her out of the way.

"Anytime, Angel. You know she's not very good in bed. She opens her legs for any guy. Buffy had Parker, then me. You know Parker was right about you, Buffy." Riley insulted Buffy, he didn't care about anything but making Buffy feel upset.

"Hey, that's not true Riley and you know it." Her anger was starting to boil. She wanted to spend some time with her honey tonight.

"Don't ever talk about her like that." Angel decked Riley right on to the floor.

"Riley, just deal with the fact that I've moved on. One day you will find happiness." Buffy said walking away in Angel's arms.

Riley couldn't believe this was happening to him. He loved Buffy, but she wanted Angel. Of the all the rotten things wiping the tears from his eyes. This hurt a lot.
